Textile Manufacturing Process

Textile manufacturing is a very popularly used term which covers all kinds of fibers (e-g: Cotton, Jute, Wool, Viscose, etc), all kinds of process (e-g: Spinning, Weaving, Knitting, Dyeing, Printing, Finishing, etc), all kinds of machinery (e-g: Spinning Machinery, Weaving Machineries, Knitting Machineries, Cutting types of machinery, etc), to transform textile fiber into finished or end-use products (e-g: Garments, Furnishing Materials, Home Textiles, Medical Textiles, Shoes Textiles, Fishing Nets, etc). It is based on the conversion of 3 types of fiber into yarn, then fabric, then textiles. These are later fabricated into clothes or other artifacts.

Textile fibers provided an essential component in modern society and the physical structure associated with human comfort and sustainability. Man is a classical friend of fashion. The hunt for better garment and apparel led to the advancement of textile fiber production and the textile production process.

A textile production process includes the production or conversion of textile fiber through a defined process in a product. The resultant textile product can be a finished product ready for the consumer market, or it may be a standard product to be utilized as an input (raw material) essence to produce the different textile products.

Clothing is a basic human requirement. For hiding shame and also protecting from the severity of weather clothing is required for the human being. Clothing is the ultimate product of textile. Textile production is a very complicated process. The range of textile production is so long. It starts from fibre to finished products. A flow chart of textile manufacturing is given below:
